To know is the beginning of remembering that what you have is in truth something you voluntarily gave away. Why would one want to lose a knowledge to remember that they had something they knew but forgot? As one having a level of know to lose it by fault to being stripped of what you knew to relearn through experience is a nothing short of a gift. Do you see the gift? To find the everything you know you must destroy what you knew to become the truth. The truth is in each of us. The possibility to know more is part of the lesson. The lesson is to be who you truly are. To know you know who you are is the remembering that we are all here to know. So the knowledge of what you know is within you. Everything to know is within you. Our problem is we look for what we know in the wrong places. Most try and find the answer outside of what they know, because they don’t know who they are. Is it possible to know the person who knows more than what they know. The answer is yes, and this is the gift, the holy grail to know…the gift is in you.
I grew up in an atheist country (China) and had never gave too much thought to religion as something I needed for myself. When I moved to the U.S., I started going to church and found it comforting to belong to a community. During this time, I started a Bible reading plan and pretty much read the whole thing (I have to admit that I skimmed through quite a bit too). During my college years, I minored in East Asia Studies and took some courses in Eastern Religion, and wrote papers on Hinduism, Buddhism, and even Falun Gong. This provided me a pretty good general understanding of differences and similarities between religions.
